Clayton Andrews, Executive Director
Clayton is an Arizona native who has lived in Utah for 7 years. Since completing a Masters of Healthcare Administration at Arizona State University he has enjoyed working to improve patient and resident experiences in the healthcare industry. After working for several years in a hospital setting he was drawn to inpatient rehab and long term care, after his own family members required those services. He enjoys collaborating with the team at Legacy Village to ensure it remains a standout healthcare facility in the Salt Lake Valley. In his free time, Clayton loves to spend time outdoors. He enjoys snowboarding, scuba diving, hiking and playing softball.
Kathryn Bennett-Hutchison, Admissions
Kathryn was born and raised in Firth, Idaho. She graduated from Utah State University in human resources with a minor in psychology, but her healthcare career began with a CNA position. She enjoys working with the elderly because there is so much to learn from their stories and experiences that could be applied to one's own life. Kathryn pursued her license in social work and now continues serving guests and families at Legacy Village Rehabilitation. In her spare time, she loves to cook, bargain shop, attend concerts, go to the movies and create memories with family and friends. A sweet tooth, Kathryn welcomes you to stop by her office, say hello and sample from one of her many candy dishes.
Reena Garabadu, Director of Nursing
Reena was born and raised in India, and completed her nursing degree in Delaware. She worked as an RN in various facilities before accepting her current position. The quality she loves most about Legacy Village is the exceptional care of our patients. It is great to be part of a team that makes that possible. Her philosophy is that patients come first, which contributes to her goal of making Legacy one of the best care providers in the city. Outside of work, she loves traveling around the world, cooking for friends and family, photography, and exercise.
Lance Dearden, Director of Therapy Services
Lance was born and raised in Utah and attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate and graduate degrees in mass communication and occupational therapy, respectively. He began working at the University Hospital, then Primary Children’s Hospital before beginning his work in transitional rehabilitation in 2011. Lance enjoys working at Legacy Rehabilitation because the top priority is our patients. His team is able to focus on our patients’ needs and how to best help them meet their goals. When he's not at Legacy, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, U of U athletics, and going to the lake.
Megan Whitbeck, Social Services Director
Meagan's favorite thing about working at Legacy Village is the team. She loves the way they work together to help guest's reach their rehabilitation goals. Her love for the senior industry began at a skilled nursing facility, where she first worked after graduating from BYU – Idaho in social work. She quickly found how rewarding working with the aging population could be. Meagan grew up in Dallas, Texas. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, watching movies, and baking.
Kaycee Pasillas, Assistant Administrator
Kaycee is a Utah native. Prior to her current position, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Kaycee began working at Legacy Village of Taylorsville in 2015. She has embraced Legacy’s Personal Touch Culture and values the connections she makes with both her associates and patients. In her free time, Kaycee enjoys finding new adventures or just relaxing on the beach with her husband and three children.
Terry Huffstatler, Business Office Manager
Terry enjoys working with seniors because they have lived a full life and have so much to share with younger generations. Terry has worked in the senior-living industry for 20+ years and absolutely loves working at Legacy Village Rehabilitation. She enjoys photography, geo-caching, camping and fishing.
Shaun Huff, MDS Coordinator
A Salt Lake Valley native, Shaun graduated from the University of Utah in nursing. After graduation he worked in hospice, eventually attaining a manager position in a skilled nursing facility. Working as a team to make a difference in the lives of guests, their families and his associates is what he loves most about his job. Shaun's goal is to encourage productive and efficient work by setting the best example he can. When not at Legacy, he enjoys spending time with family and traveling the world to learn about different customs and cultures.
JoAnne Timmerman, Dining Services Director
JoAnne first started working as a dishwasher in a nursing community when she was 14 years old. She moved up very quickly and became a cook when she was just 15 and has been cooking ever since. JoAnne set her goals high and is now excited to work as the Dining Services Director at Legacy Village Rehabilitation. Her mission as the Dining Services Director is to provide guests and their families with a pleasant and enjoyable experience through the food that she and her team prepare. She believes in working together as a team so that all can learn from each other.
Terry Hutchison, Maintenance Director
Terry is very proud to be from Gerome, Idaho. Terry grew up working in the potato fields, and owning his own lawn care business during his high school years. He moved to Utah and worked for Aladdin IND Manufacturing for 35+ years. He attended Salt Lake Community College and received his business degree from Mountain West College. He is also a certified building inspector. Terry is excited to join the Legacy family, where he enjoys knowing that he can make a difference in the life of others. Terry loves his family, camping, and four-wheeling.
